Christina v. Sheraton Hotel: R.S.D. Case
Hotel Settles With Woman Who Sustained R.S.D. After An Accident for $1+ Million
Julie Christina was attending a conference at the Sheraton Hotel in Universal Studios. She went into a telephone booth to call her office and the seat on the booth collapsed, causing her to strike her back on portions of the metal seat and telephone framework. Over the next several months, Ms. Christina developed Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), a rare disorder which causes intractable pain. The plaintiff brought suit against the hotel and telephone company.
Biren Law Group retained the leading experts on R.S.D. and established that the accident and the trauma had likely induced the RSD and that plaintiff was totally disabled as a result. The case was successfully settled for $1+ million by our team.
