Our client was making a delivery and was directed to unload his truck in the median of the adjacent busy street instead of his normal loading dock, since it did not provide sufficient amount of room to unload. Our client opened his truck door and it swung into the traffic lane causing a vehicle to strike the door, knocking our client to the ground which caused traumatic brain injury. Our team showed that the company was negligent and the load dock was dangerous, resulting in a settlement.
