Matthew B.F. Biren and John A. Roberts obtained a $1 Million policy limits settlement on behalf of a 4 month old infant and his parents against a family child care home business. During his second day at the day care facility the child was put down for a nap and later discovered to be not breathing. It was initially thought that the child aspirated, but it was later established that the child had suffered an incomplete SIDS event, causing severe brain damage.
