Matthew B.F. Biren and John A. Roberts obtained a $695,000 settlement for the family of a mother who sustained fatal injuries after tripping over a dangerous parking lot wheel stop. The defense argued the wheel stop was not dangerous, as its placement followed common expectations. The Biren Law Group was able to show the wheel stop was imperceptible to people using the handicap parking spaces and there were safer placement alternatives.
